The Department of Defense announced today the death of six Soldiers from the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The six Soldiers, all members of 3rd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, were killed January 9th in Sinsil, Iraq, north of Baghdad, when insurgents detonated a large bomb hidden in a house the Soldiers were clearing. [...]

A bomb-rigged house exploded and killed six American Soldiers from 3rd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, and their Iraqi interpreter.
